Pankaj Modi Business Head - Captial Markets & Asset Management
Pankaj has an experience of over 23 years in the IT industry. He joins Polaris from HCL Technologies Limited, where he was heading their flagship account (Deutsche Bank) which is the largest engagement at HCL. Prior to HCL, has spent over 11 years at Mahindra Satyam (erstwhile Satyam Computer Services Limited). At Satyam, he was responsible for Delivery and Operations for integrated BFSI vertical.
Experience in offshore outsourcing, driving strategy, managing project delivery, building teams and competencies in IT services, he is intimate with global engagement model associated with offshoring industry. Experienced in Program Management of clients' offshoring objectives, establishing and managing strategic offshore programs (ODCs) in BFS segment, delivering significant economic value at higher levels of service quality. Pankaj has extensive international experience working in US and UAE. He also has worked with IBM in Tokyo, Japan.
He has a Masters degree in Business Administration -University of Mumbai and a Bachelors degree in Engineering-Osmania University. He is a Trustee of Angrias Foundation, which provides scholarships to the financially challenged and meritorious students. Pankaj is a visiting/guest faculty at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad.
