Padmini has over two decades of experience as a Techno-banker & Communications strategist and is a key member of the Corporate Strategy team.
For 10 years, Padmini worked in the Treasury and Technology businesses at American Express, where she was the recipient of the Chairman's Quality Gold Award. In 2002, Padmini joined Polaris as the Integration Manager for the company's merger with OrbiTech, a Citigroup subsidiary. Since then, she has been instrumental in anchoring several strategic programs for the CEO’s office, apart from anchoring the marketing and distribution, media relations and corporate communication functions.
Ullas, Polaris' social connect programme, is Padmini's passion. She had a wonderful opportunity of designing and implementing a unique 24-module syllabus, as part of the "Summit" Weekend enrichment program, though which Ullas Trust reaches out to thousands of high school students from Municipal, Corporation and Government schools. She is a Core Member of the Polaris foundation and simply enjoys her role as a Master Trainer.
For excellence in her chosen fields of Technology, Banking and Financial Services, as well as her active enthusiasm for social issues and education, Padmini was conferred the Women Leadership Award by the Institute of Public Enterprise.
