Jitin is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd (Polaris). He is also President of Virtusa Corporation where he is responsible for developing and executing Virtusa’s growth strategy for the Banking & Financial Services industry worldwide.
Prior to joining Polaris, Jitin worked for 10 years from 1998 to 2008 at Infosys Technologies Limited, where he served as Vice President for EMEA and was a member of the company's Tier-1 leadership team. Prior to Infosys, from 1994 to 1998, Jitin was with Citibank NA in various roles in corporate banking, treasury and capital markets. He has rich experience across multiple dimensions of the banking industry including FX and derivatives trading, risk management solutions for corporate clients, business process re-engineering & re-development of cash, trade, treasury & core banking systems, and transaction banking operations.
Jitin is also a successful entrepreneur, having set up ventures in diverse areas such as environment & sustainability, film & TV animation, and technology innovation. He continues to be the principal shareholder and director of Occam Technologies, a privately-held, India-based startup venture that he set up in July 2010.
Jitin holds a degree in Electronics Engineering, and an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management.
